Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team in Whitehall, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full-Time (0.8 FTE)

• Schedule:12-hour shifts (8am to 8pm) with some variability possible.
  • Operational hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm, and Saturday 8am to 2pm

• Typical procedures:
• Sprains and strains
• Stitches
• Rashes
• Cold and Flu Symptoms
• Tooth Pain
• Sore Throat
• Pink eye
• Lower back pain
• Animal or insect bite
• Urinary tract infection
• Ear pain

• Location: Whitehall, MI
• Specialty: Urgent Care
• Very busy urgent care with a great team and a variety of patients.

Requirements

• Provider experience preferred
• APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
• ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
