At MedSpring our doctors provide quick and convenient urgent care. With digital x-ray and lab equipment on-site, we are able to provide immediate care for a wide range of illnesses and injuries, from coughs, colds and infections to burns, cuts needing stitches and broken bones.
MedSpring is not your typical walk-in clinic or urgent care clinic. Most MedSpring visits last less than an hour, compared to more than four hours for a typical emergency room visit. Our urgent care centers are attractive, comfortable and conveniently located with complimentary beverages and snacks, in-room televisions, and free WiFi. MedSpring’s clinical team is led by our Chief Medical Officer, Jon L. Belsher, M.D. Board certified in both Critical Care and Internal Medicine, Dr. Belsher received his training at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX and at the Mayo Clinic in both Scottsdale, AZ and Rochester, MN. Dr. Belsher was formerly a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air National Guard where he was the chief of Aerospace Medicine at the Air National Guard’s largest medical unit.
The Chairman of our Board is Craig Frances, M.D. Dr. Frances graduated with honors from Cornell University and was Valedictorian at Cornell University Medical College, where he also received the Paul Sherlock Prize, a peer-voted award for exceptional integrity and compassion in patient care. He is the creator of the Saint-Frances Series, medical books that are used extensively in academic centers across the United States. Dr. Frances has numerous publications in leading journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, and has collaborated with many national healthcare leaders.
Our other Physicians and medical professionals bring a variety of clinical experience to their work at MedSpring. All are selected for their clinical skills and experience, as well as for their interest and effectiveness in serving patients.
